Jakob Gasteiger - Abstract Painting Now!

As an artist, Jakob Gasteiger has dedicated himself entirely to abstraction. His primary and working material is paint, not colour. The position of his works is often located on the crossovers of drawing, painting and sculpture, in many cases transgressing them. On the occasion of the reopening of Kunsthalle Krems, works by this artist are on display in the exhibition "Abstract Painting Now". We visited Jakob Gasteiger in his studio and made a brief portrait there.
